I live by this. I notice that when my surroundings are in chaos, so is my life. If I haven't done my laundry, cleaned my room, or showered... I know I'm feeling depressed.
Thankfully, there are super cute ways to keep things together (Bless you, Kate Spade).

- Your Social life!
I cannot stress how important it is to manage your academic life and social life. Get a planner. Always know what you are doing or are about to do, it will reduce your stress.
Keep in touch. There is nothing more exciting in college than getting a hand-written letter. There is also nothing more that your family members will appreciate than seeing that you took the time to reach out to them using more than an email! Additionally, thank you notes are a platform on the ladder of success.
